Refresh, revitalise, and recontour your skin with dermal fillers from Droitwich Spa Dental Aesthetics & Implant Centre.
At Droitwich Spa Dental Aesthetics & Implant Centre, we want to help our patients look and feel good in whatever way we can – which is why we’re developing a range of facial aesthetic treatments that include dermal fillers. Designed to help the skin look younger, plumper, more refined and contoured, dermal fillers are a non-surgical, minimally-invasive way to reinject a bit of confidence into your skin.
What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers use an injectable form of hyaluronic acid which is applied to targeted areas of the face to add a major hit of hydration, adding to, and refining the skin’s elasticity and plumpness. This leaves it looking younger, bouncier, and more refreshed. It can also help add definition to the face, especially when used at the cheeks, chin, and jawline.
What is hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid is a completely natural and body-safe substance. In fact, our skin naturally produces hyaluronic acid, which is what helps it look hydrated, refreshed, and plump. This natural production of hyaluronic acid slows and decreases as we age, however, which can leave the skin looking saggy, crepey, dry, and dull. This is where dermal fillers come in.
How is the treatment applied?
The hyaluronic acid is delivered via injection by one of our highly trained and dexterous skin specialists. As dental professionals, we are excellently placed to deliver these treatments as we’re experts in facial anatomy and at performing treatments with a steady, gentle hand.
How long does the treatment take?
After an initial consultation, dermal fillers can be applied in as little as half an hour.
How long do the results last?
Results from dermal fillers usually last 6-12 months.
When will I notice the results?
Most patients notice the results from this treatment within a week, but some are lucky enough to leave the practice with noticeable results!
Will it hurt?
We’ll always apply a numbing agent to the areas being treated before applying the injections, so there’s no need to worry about being uncomfortable.
Is there any downtime?
You might experience some slight swelling or bruising at the injection site, but this should disappear fairly quickly and you should expect to be able to return to your day completely as normal.
